My name is Sandra López, I am from Colombia.
In 2009 I started my language institute. My philosophy is: fun lessons with agreed goals that are achieved as efficiently as possible. Everyone can learn Spanish if the lessons are challenging and fun.
I teach Spanish as a second language.
I have a Spanish Education degree from Instituto Cervantes . I have also studied Journalism and Communication and have a master’s degree in Economics and International Business. Spanish is my mother language and I speak fluent Dutch and English.
My goal is simple: to make Spanish accessible to everyone. Whether you are a beginner, half- advanced or advanced, there is always a course that suits you, simply because You tell what you want! All lessons, whether they are one-on-one or in Two-on- one lessons , are at times that suit you.

Some students would like to work on a particular goal, work at irregular times, or would like lessons that are specially tailored to them. Then private lessons are the outcome. During a non-binding intake, we will discuss your wishes and goals and I offer you a range of lessons tailored to this. Private lessons are my specialty and are completely tailor-made. All options are possible: an intensive steam course in a short time, or sessions for a longer period at fixed or changing times and days.
We work with the method Spanish becomes Español, a workbook with grammatical and communicative exercises. In addition, we make the lessons stimulating and interactive through the use of videos, magazines, audio material, etc.
From the first day we speak in Spanish! You learn simple conversations about everyday things. You can introduce yourself in Spanish, ask and answer questions about where someone comes from, where someone lives, what someone loves and what someone’s hobbies are. You can write simple notes, fill out forms and read short texts.
We go a step further. Your vocabulary expands and you learn to use commonly used expressions and simple conversations about everyday, personal matters are getting easier and easier. You can read simple texts and you can write short letters and texts.
You can have conversations about well-known topics. You can describe experiences and give your opinion and ask for the opinion of others. During the course you will learn, for example:
• tell your colleagues what you did on the weekend.
• have a conversation about your future plans
• give your opinion and substantiate it with arguments.
The texts we use in this course are becoming increasingly complicated. The texts you can write yourself are also becoming more and more varied, longer and more difficult. You can save yourself afterwards in almost all situations you encounter when you travel to a Spanish-speaking country
At this level, the student can make himself understandable in all kinds of situations, can read longer texts and can implicitly recognize language use. You can express yourself more and more easily, fluently and more spontaneously, without having to search for words and expressions for a long time. You can use the language effectively in a social, academic and professional setting. You can also write clear, well-structured texts on complex topics, showing that you have sufficient knowledge of grammatical and conventional structures.
At this level, the student can understand almost everything he or she hears or reads. During this course, you will learn to summarize information and arguments from different sources (spoken and written) in a clear presentation. You can express yourself spontaneously, you speak fluently and you master all the subtleties of the language, even in very complex situations
